Multi-stage: two or more impellers are connected in series, and intercoolers are equipped between stages to control temperature rise, covering low pressure to ultra-high pressure. Typically used for synthetic ammonia, natural gas pressurization, high-pressure polyethylene, etc.

Ethylene plant: cracking gas compression, propylene and hydrocarbon refrigeration compression, a single million-ton ethylene plant is usually equipped with 3-5 centrifugal compressors.
